What we are building
Real connections, from real encounters.
Not another feed, and not another place to perform. We are building the quiet layer around the events you actually attend: before, after, and in between. This is how it will feel.
Before the event
See who else is coming, find a ride from your city, ask the host what to pack. The first hello happens before the first circle.
During the event
Nothing. No live feed, no check-ins, no reason to look at your phone. You are there, and we are quiet.
The days after
Photos from the host, a place for your reflections, and one simple question to the people who were there with you: would you like to stay in touch?
Between events
A short briefing instead of an endless feed: someone from your retreat signed up for an Ecstatic Dance, your host published winter dates. Ten entries, then it ends.
Your profile writes itself
No posting, no performing. The events you actually attended tell your story, and you decide who sees any of it.
No likes, no follower counts
No algorithm, no infinite scroll, nothing built to keep you on a screen. We are not making social media.
Private by default
Whether anyone can see that you attended is your choice, event by event. Off by default, always.
Connections need an encounter
No requests from strangers. A connection is only possible between people who were at the same event, and only when both say yes.
The best moments will keep happening offline. We just help you keep the people you meet there.
A note from the four of us
Why we are building this.
Arivela began with a few retreats that moved more in us than we expected. Looking back, it was never the venues or the schedules that stayed with us: it was the people we sat in a circle with.
Almost all of those contacts live somewhere fragile now. A WhatsApp group that went quiet. An Instagram handle we never wrote to. At some point we admitted it to ourselves: we run the place where these encounters begin, and we do nothing to help them last.
So we are building this part slowly, and a little stubbornly. No feed asking for your attention, no numbers to collect, nothing you have to keep up. Just your events, your people, and after each one a simple choice: stay in touch, or let it rest.
One thing we want to say plainly, because it explains everything else: Arivela earns something when you go to an event, not when you spend hours on a screen. That is why we can honestly build a community that sends you away, into the room, into the circle, onto the dance floor. And that quietly holds the door open for when you come back.
