On the other, the independent hosts, facilitators and places who hold them. Arivela brings the two together in one place: you find each other here, and everything after that happens between you.

Both sides, equally. If you're looking, you'll find events, retreats and trainings from independent hosts, wherever you happen to be. If you hold something yourself, you can publish it here and be found: that side has a page of its own, for hosts.

Three worlds, each with its own search, because people look for them differently: Events nearby and soon, Retreats by practice and season, Trainings by discipline and certification hours.

No. Every event, retreat and training on Arivela is put together independently by its hosts. We don't host anything ourselves, and we don't rate anything: that we leave to the people who teach and guide, and to you, the ones stepping into the experience.

Four of us: Flo, Alex, Rainer and Bella. It started with a retreat in Indonesia, took shape in Rishikesh in March 2025, and came home to Berlin from there. The whole story is on the About page.

A host puts them there, always. They fill in the details themselves, paste in a flyer or some text and let us suggest a draft they check and finish, or talk it through with our assistant, but every listing starts with something a host handed us directly. Arivela does not scan the web or pull events in from other platforms on its own: nothing appears here unless a host puts it there.

Nothing. Browsing, searching, finding: all free. Only when you buy a ticket directly on Arivela does a small service fee get added at checkout, shown as its own line.

Each of the three worlds has its own search, because you look for them differently. For Events it's where you are and when: tonight, this weekend, a particular time of day. For Retreats the practice comes first, then a season and a length. For Trainings it's the discipline and the certification hours: 200, 300 or 500.

Usually directly with the host: every offering page shows you the way in, the host's own booking page or a way to reach them. For events that offer tickets on Arivela, you buy right here and get your ticket by email.

We can't tell you whether a class is right for you. What we can do is make it findable and set it down next to the others, and then it's yours to choose. So there are no star ratings here, and no position anyone can buy. The rest is between you and whoever is holding the room.

Not for looking around: events, retreats and trainings are open to everyone. An account comes in when you want to publish something yourself, or browse the host and place profiles.

No, you can publish without one. It's worth having, though. Your host profile is the page for everything that makes you who you are, and every offering you publish stays connected to it, so people can follow you and your path far beyond a single event.

An event is a single or recurring date, usually hours rather than days, and usually local: a class, a ceremony, a dance. A retreat runs over several days in one place. A training leads to a certification, most often 200, 300 or 500 hours. Each lives in its own world with its own search, so a weekly class doesn't compete with a festival for attention.

Yes. Recurring dates are set up once: Arivela keeps the schedule from there and always shows the next date.

Yes, as co-hosts. You appear side by side on the offering page, and the date shows on each host's profile, in front of each host's circle. Someone not on Arivela yet? An email invite is enough.

Yes. Choose any place on Arivela as the venue. Once they confirm, your offering appears on their place page, address and map included. Every link works both ways, so it only happens when both sides say yes: nothing appears on anyone's page without their OK.

Studios, retreat spaces and halls have their own pages on Arivela, the same way hosts do. You can link your host profile with the places where you hold your practice: you appear on their page, they appear on yours, and whoever discovers one finds the other. Have a look at the places already here.

Yes, whenever you like. Your offerings and profiles live in your dashboard, and you edit or unpublish them there.

Nothing. Your profile, your events, retreats and trainings: you publish all of it for free. No subscription, no hidden costs, and no paid position in discovery results.

No. Unpaid discovery has no position to buy and no budget moves an offering up a list. Separate, clearly marked advertising does not affect this order.

No. Selling tickets costs you nothing. At checkout a small service fee is added for your guest, shown as its own line. Your ticket price reaches you in full.

Through the small service fee that is added when a ticket is bought. The rest the four of us carry out of our own pockets so far.

Payment runs through Stripe and goes to your own account. Your money is released after each event date, one day after the date has ended.

No. Not your data, not the data of the people who come to you. That is not a business model we want to build on.

Arivela is built as a network, not a catalog. Your offering links to your profile, your profile to the places you teach at, and the place back to what happens there. Someone discovers a retreat and finds you. Someone discovers a studio and finds what's on. Every link is another way in.

We work with studios, retreat spaces and festivals, and reach their communities through them. We write about hosts and places, curate recommendations, and run campaigns for each of the three worlds. And we do the unglamorous work too: search visibility, pages in four languages, fast loading.
