Nestled in the heart of the Diamante Valley in Costa Rica, Shambhala is an oasis surrounded by lush jungle, cascading waterfalls, and a thriving ecosystem. Our mission is to create a resilient, self sustaining sanctuary that honors the land, supports biodiversity, and nurtures both the Earth and the people who care for it. Guided by the principles of permaculture, we cultivate organic food, harvest renewable energy, and work with the natural rhythms of the land.
Our farm is located in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, just 40 minutes away from the beautiful coastal surf towns of Uvita and Dominical.
Finca Shambhala borders the powerful Diamante river and has magical views of the Diamante waterfall, the tallest waterfall in the country!
At Finca Shambhala, we are dedicated to cultivating a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. Our farm practices regenerative permaculture and provides a sanctuary for healing and growth. We offer a range of holistic services and workshops, ensuring a nurturing space for individuals to reconnect with the earth and themselves.

2017Training
200 hour teacher training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga

With over a decade as a student of Ashtanga and Kriya yoga, Paulina teaching style centers on deep connection to the body through awareness, breath, and somatic movement. Having received her 200 hour teacher training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga in India in 2017, Paulina has continued to deepen her practice through self study, somatic movement and a daily meditation practice.
2024Training
Kriya yoga apprenticeship program

In 2024 Paulina returned to India to spend time in Ashrams, constantly learning and evolving in her practice. Currently she is enrolled in a Kriya yoga apprenticeship program, expanding her knowledge on Kriya meditation techniques. Her self practice eventually lead her to deeper connection to body through dance and somatic movement.

And in 2025 she participated in a New Earth Dj program to learn how to consciously DJ and guide ecstatic dance circles. She has already lead ecstatic dances in festivals in Costa Rica such as Bliss Burn and also djs and guides for private retreat groups.

Maestro Wiler Noriega
Shipibo·Amazon in Peru
Maestro Wiler Noriega comes from the Shipibo lineage of the Peruvian Amazon and carries more than 20 years of experience working with plant medicine and ancestral healing. His knowledge has been passed down through his grandfather, continuing a lineage deeply rooted in the spiritual and medicinal traditions of the Shipibo people.
Maestro Wiler was one of the shamans at Pulse Retreat Center, one of Peru’s largest healing centers, where he dedicated years to guiding powerful ceremonies.
His relationship with the plant world is profound. Through more than 50 dietas with master plants, he has devoted years to deepening his connection, understanding, and relationship with the spirit and intelligence of these medicines.
We first connected with Wiler more than seven years ago, when we spent several months immersed in his village in Peru. During that time, we experienced firsthand the depth of his knowledge, the power of his ceremonies, and the beauty of his icaros.
His medicine and icaros remain among the most profound and deeply healing we have ever encountered. It is an honor to share this lineage and create a space where others can experience Maestro Wiler’s teachings, presence, and connection to the sacred plant traditions of the Amazon.
