About this place

It's time for meditative holidays in the Himalayas

OSHO Himalayas is an OSHO Meditation Resort for all those who love to meditate, celebrate, and be in nature. Located in a pleasant Himalayan valley near Dharamshala, India, we offer meditation courses based on OSHO Active Meditations all year.

The OSHO Himalayas Wellness Resort is a year-round meditation and wellness center nestled amid a picturesque mountain landscape in the Jia Valley near Dharamshala in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Recognized by OSHO International, the resort combines the spiritual practice of active Osho meditations with modern wellness facilities and eco-friendly, nature-inspired architecture.

The Facility & Location

The resort features panoramic windows that offer unobstructed views of the surrounding Dhauladhar mountain range and the green valleys from every vantage point. The facility was built sustainably using regional materials such as slate and wood. Travelers can expect a peaceful, communal atmosphere characterized by meditation, nature experiences, and relaxation. Facilities: Amenities include an outdoor pool with mountain views, a spa and massage area with a hot tub, a sauna, a floatation tank, a library, and an open-air gym. Rooms & Dining: The bright and comfortable rooms are named after historical female mystics. The meals included in the package are exclusively vegetarian and prepared using organic, locally sourced ingredients. Vegan options are served at the on-site “Terra Cafe.”

Daily Schedule & Meditation Structure

Up to five guided meditations based on classic Osho methods take place daily at the resort: [1] 6:00–7:00 a.m.: OSHO Dynamic Meditation (an intense, chaotic method for catharsis and activating the energy centers) 10:30–11:30 a.m.: OSHO Nadabrahma Meditation (a humming, centering meditation) 4:30–3:30 p.m.: OSHO Kundalini Meditation (an evening meditation involving shaking and dancing) 6:45–8:15 p.m.: OSHO Evening Gathering (the daily, celebratory get-together at the Osho Ashram)

Courses and Programs

Both flexible stays and fixed-schedule intensive courses are offered: Year-round programs: The so-called OMG Experiences (Osho Meditation Getaway) allow for flexible, self-directed meditation vacations of any duration. There is also the “A Week In Silence” program for deeper contemplation. Special retreats: The OSHO Himalayas course program regularly features seminars lasting several days or weeks. These include creative retreats such as the Shiva-Shakti Retreat (dance & painting), classic therapies such as OSHO Mystic Rose (21 days) or OSHO Born Again, as well as tantra workshops.
