Sanka Praksalana: Yogic Cleanse ~ Online
About this event
Sanka Praksalana is an ancient yogic cleansing technique for the whole digestive system, and a powerful, simple purification practice you can do in your own home.
Unlike colonic irrigation, enemas or other modern procedures that only cleanse the large intestine, Sanka Praksalana cleans the entire digestive system. It is recommended to do it at least twice a year, to refresh and reset digestion. The technique is simple and accessible, but guidance and support during your first times makes all the difference.
In this online workshop, experienced yoga teacher Atmananda guides you through each step and answers your questions as you go, so you are supported the whole way through.
What is involved: salt water, a specific set of movements, and a toilet. The technique takes 1 to 3 hours depending on the person, followed by rest and a careful re-introduction of foods.
Before the day: a pre-recorded preparatory talk is available from Friday morning, explaining every stage and what to have ready. The link is sent by email (please check your junk folder).
Benefits people often notice:
- Deeper sleep and a natural balancing of body weight
- A calmer gut, with fewer complaints rooted in digestion
- Clearer skin and brighter eyes
- Fresher breath and stronger digestion
When: Saturday 5th December, 8:30am to 12:30pm (UK time), online from your own home. Price: £20, open to everyone.
