Über dieses Retreat

A 5-day ritual immersion for women in the forest near Mexico City, designed for a small circle of 10 women to reconnect with their creative voice, emotional depth, and inner direction. Through ritual, sound, and embodied practices, participants explore the archetypes of Sun, Moon, Stars, and Earth as living forces within them, guiding toward clarity, expression, and aligned action.

The dance flow unfolds over five days, as a small circle steps into a living ritual, walking among trees, stones, and fire, opening to the presence of sacred plants, the temazcal, and the dance of creation itself. Shared meals, quiet, sound, movement, writing, plants, and acts of imagination become mirrors and keys, guiding participants to discern their path, awaken intention, and inhabit the fullness of their will, body, and spirit.

The sacred steps for each day include:

  • Day 1 – Coatlicue: The Devouring Earth (Birth, Root, Embrace)
  • Day 2 – Coyolxauhqui: The Broken Moon (Fragment, Intuition, Depth)
  • Day 3 – Centzon Huitznahua: The Whispering Stars - Xochicalco (Noise, Shadow, Discord)
  • Day 4 – Huitzilopochtli: The Hummingbird of the Sun (Will, Direction, Courage)
  • Day 5 – Mitōtiliztli: The Dance of the Hummingbird under the Broken Moon - Tepoztlán (Cycle, Love, Transformation)

The retreat takes place at Huitzili Ritual Retreats in Huitzilac, a corner in the Mexican forests 40 minutes from Mexico City. The surrounding flora consists mostly of oak and pine forests. The boutique house occupies a comfortable 800 m², offering space to live in harmony with nature.

Accommodation includes cozy rooms available in single, double, or queen (all bathrooms are shared), with beds assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The stay includes nourishing meals, guided facilitation, workshops, materials, fire ceremonies, temazcal, plant medicine, sound healing, pilgrimages to Tepoztlán & Xochicalco, and shuttle service from Mexico City on the 19th & 25th. Airfare and travel insurance are not included.

The retreat is led by Cristina Bucardo (Ritual Guide & Creator), Irma (Mazatec Traditional Healer), Flor (Urban Shamanism), Nina (Sonic Artist), and Carmelita (Nourishment Artist).
