Ecstatic Dance in Berlin

Berlin dances barefoot. Ecstatic dance here runs most nights of the week somewhere between Kreuzberg, Neukölln and Friedrichshain, and the floor is exactly what the name says: no steps, no partner, no talking, no alcohol. A DJ builds a wave over two hours or so, and everyone moves the way their body wants to. Newcomers are normal.
